Monty Lewis has 26 years of collegiate coaching experience and 17 of those years as a Head Coach. Coach Lewis holds an overall record of 118-55 placing the 4-time KCAC Coach of the Year, near the top of the NAIA for active wins and winning percentage.
Coach Lewis and his wife Nancy, who also works at the university, have two children, a daughter Shelby (16) and a son Josh (14).

Coach Welch completed his seventh season at Friends University and his 25th season overall in college football.
The Falcon "D" has enjoyed a great deal of success, under his direction, which deservingly brought Coach Welch the KCAC Assistant Coach of the Year award again in 2009.
For the fourth year in a row, the Falcon Defensive unit finished #1 in the conference and is consistently recognized as one of the top rated Defenses in the country. The Falcons finished the 2009 season with the #2 ranked Defense in the NAIA

Coach Welch has been part of 10 Championships, his fierce desire to achieve success and a wealth of knowledge has earned him a great deal of respect from not only the coaches in the KCAC., but across the NAIA as well.
Coach Welch has a son Monty, who will be a senior for the Falcons this fall.
