Wichita, Kan. - Friends University hosted University of Saint Mary on Thursday night in Garvey Gymnasium. Junior Abril Marshall recorded her fifth double double of the year to give the Falcons the victory 71-59.

Marshall finished the night with 17 points and 13 rebounds. She went 5 for 9 from the field and 7 for 7 for free throws. Senior Jacque Dean also helped in the effort with 14 points.

Friends improve their record to 9-2 in conference and 15-8 overall. The Lady Falcons are currently in second place in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The Falcons go on the road on Saturday to Lindsborg to compete against Bethany College. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
